Dennis Wieber

Dennis Wieber, born on October 28, 1966, in Avon, MN, began his journey as a curious and adventurous spirit, surrounded by a large and loving family. Graduating as Valedictorian from Holdingford High School in 1985, Dennis served in the US Navy, earning accolades for his expertise and mentorship. In 1996, he embarked on a distinguished 26-year career with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), earning national respect for his dedication to the National Airspace System. Unfortunately, due to declining health, Dennis reluctantly retired in February 2023.

In addition to his FAA career, Dennis embraced the role of husband and father, marrying Brenda Lyons in 2005 and taking joy in mentoring her daughters, Krista and Kelly. A master mechanic with a love for adventure, he cherished his time with lifelong friends, enjoying activities like drag racing, motorcycling, and off-roading. In recent years, his greatest joy came from being Papa D to grandchildren Roman and Alice, ensuring the bird feeders were always full.

On August 30, 2023, Dennis passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer at his home in Welch, MN. Dennis is remembered with love by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, parents, siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
